Day 1: Istanbul Arrival

Begin day 1 of your tour with your arrival at the Istanbul airport. Our team will greet and meet you there and prepare you for a transfer to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and take a breather. After you check in, you’ll have the rest of the day to take in your surroundings or go outside to explore the neighborhood around your hotel.

Day 2: Istanbul Tour

Begin day 2 of your tour with breakfast at your hotel, and head outside for a drive to explore the historic Sultanahmet district with a guided tour. The tour will begin at the Blue Mosque with its distinctive blue tiles and six minarets, then it will continue at the ancient Hippodrome of Constantinople, where you can still see its three monumental columns.

After that destination, the tour will continue at the Topkapi Palace Museum and you’ll also visit the Hagia Sophia to see its remarkable architecture. Stop nearby at a local lunch restaurant and eat a traditional Turkish dish to get used to its cuisine, which is one of the most delicious in the world. After lunch the tour will continue with a stop at the famous Grand Bazaar of Istanbul. There you can browse through over 5,000 shops that sell traditional crafts, rugs, jewelry, and souvenirs. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to the hotel to end Day 2.

Day 3: Canakkale and Troy Tour

Begin day 3 with breakfast at your hotel and prepare for a drive to Canakkale to begin a guided tour of the ANZAC Battlefields. Continue your tour with visits to Brighton Beach, ANZAC Cove, Beach Cemetery, and the Lone Pine Australian Memorial. The tour will continue with a walk through Turkish and allied tunnels and trenches to see memorials from the fighting in World War 1. After this tour, prepare for a drive to the archaeological site of Ancient Troy. Here you will walk and walk through the ruins where you can see the Trojan Horse remains, the Walls of Troy, Megaron House. The tour will also continue at the Roman bath, Odeon, and Temple of Athena. Afterwards, check in at your hotel nearby and end your day.

Day 4: Pergamon Tour

Begin day 4 with a drive to Pergamon, one of the oldest cities in Turkey. This tour will take you to an ancient capital city that thrived for nearly four hundred years. Here, this tour will include extensive ruins such as temples, palaces, agoras, the impressive Zeus Altar, and the historic Parchment Library. After the initial tour, the tour will continue with a visit to the ruins of Asklepion, an ancient medical center. Asklepion is the ancient city where scholars like Hippocrates and Galen worked and made a name for themselves. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 5: Ephesus Tour & Departure

Begin day 5 with an early breakfast, and prepare for a drive to Ephesus, where you’ll tour the House of the Virgin Mary, a 6th century church. After that, the tour will head on towards Ancient Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Turkey or in the Eastern Mediterranean. Here, the tour will continue as you walk through its ancient streets and see the third-largest library of the ancient world and one of the largest Roman theaters on the Asian continent. After that, you’ll visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This is the last stop of the tour. After that, you will be transferred to the Izmir Airport for your flight home.
