Day 1: Kyoto to Osaka

Upon arrival in Tokyo, depart by Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto, enjoying a scenic journey to Japan’s cultural capital. Upon arrival, begin exploring the charming Pontocho Alley, known for its narrow lanes, traditional wooden buildings, and local atmosphere. Continue to the Statue of Izumo-no-Okuni to learn about the origins of Kabuki theater before heading to the historic Gion district, famous for its geisha culture and traditional streets. Visit Gion Corner and Yasaka Shrine, then enjoy a relaxing stroll along Hanamikoji Street before transferring to your hotel in Kyoto for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kyoto to Osaka

After breakfast, depart by train to Osaka and begin the day with a visit to the iconic Osaka Castle, a historic 16th-century landmark surrounded by scenic gardens and impressive architecture. Enjoy free time to explore the lively neighborhoods and have lunch at your own leisure. Later, continue to the vibrant Dotonbori district, known for its bright neon lights, entertainment, and canal-side atmosphere. Stop by the famous Glico Man sign for photos and visit the nearby Hozenji Temple before returning by train to Kyoto for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Kyoto – Nara

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates stretching along the mountainside. Continue to the stunning Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion, followed by a walk through the peaceful Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. After some free time for lunch, depart for Nara to explore Todai-ji Temple and its impressive Great Buddha statue. Spend time in Nara Park interacting with the friendly Sika deer before concluding the tour. Transfer arrangements to Tokyo or Kansai Airport can be made upon request.
