Begin the day with a traditional breakfast at your hotel and prepare for the start of your Cappadocia tour with a visit to the beautiful Red Valley. There, try to take in its surroundings and check out its rock-cut churches before hiking through the colorful landscape which make Red Valley so famous. From there, the tour will continue towards Cavusin village to see more of the ancient churches. Afterwards, you will visit the Ozkonak Underground City, which is one of Cappadocia’s largest underground cities. Then the tour will continue towards Pigeon Valley and Ortahisar Castle, home to the region’s biggest fairy chimney formation. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel to end day 2.

The third day will begin with an early morning start from Cappadocia, driving through the way to the amazing Mount Nemrut region. On the way, there will be a short tea break at the town of Pinarbasi before driving to Kahramanmaras, a city famous for its delicious Turkish ice cream.

The tour will continue through Adiyaman, where there will be a visit to various historical sites, including the historical city of Arsemia, the ancient capital of the Commagene Kingdom, the historical Severus Bridge, and Karakus Tumulus.

The third day will also include an early morning sunrise visit to Mount Nemrut, where visitors will have the opportunity to see the amazing sunrise from the plateau. At Mount Nemrut, there will be the opportunity to see the ancient stone statues and other monuments, giving this historical site the distinction of being one of the most amazing archaeological sites in Turkey. End day 3 of your tour and transfer back to your hotel.

On your way to Sanliurfa today, your first stop will be the impressive Ataturk Dam, the largest dam in Turkey.

Your travels will take you to the famous Gobekli Tepe temple, which is the oldest temple in the world, dating back thousands of years, even predating the construction of the famous Stonehenge by 6,000 years.

After lunching in Sanliurfa, your next destination will be the historic village of Harran, which is famous for the unique mud brick houses that resemble beehives. Your exploration of the area will include the ancient city ruins, the old city walls, the oldest Islamic university in the world, and an 18th-century castle.

After your exploration of the Harran area, you will head back to Sanliurfa and visit the famous Mevlid-i Halil Mosque, which houses the famous Cave of Prophet Abraham and the famous Pools of the Holy Carp. Your exploration of the area will continue with the famous oriental covered bazaar. Transfer back to your hotel to end your day.

Following breakfast, you will depart for the beautiful stone city of Mardin, a historic destination declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The day’s tour begins with a visit to the historic Deyrulzafaran Monastery, the residence of the Metropolitan of Mardin for over 630 years and of particular significance for the Syriac Christians.

The historic city of Mardin is also home to many other historic landmarks, such as the Kirklar Church, Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, and the Mardin Museum, as well as several traditional markets, including the Old Bazaar, the Spice Bazaar, and the Copperworkers Bazaar, all of which you will visit as you walk around the city. During your tour of the historic city of Mardin, you will also visit other historic landmarks such as Cumhuriyet Square, the historic PTT building, Ulu Mosque, Zinciriye Madrasa, and the Old Girls’ Vocational High School Museum, all of which reflect the city’s rich culture and long history. End day 5 of your tour and transfer back to your hotel.

Begin day 6 with an early transfer from your hotel to the airport where you’ll take a flight to Istanbul. Arrive at the Istanbul airport and hop on to a flight taking you home.
